Part-Time Welder and Instructor

We are seeking a skilled and passionate individual to join our team as a Part-Time Welder and Instructor. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced welders and instructors. Retired or semi-retired are encouraged to apply if you’d like to share your knowledge and expertise with the next of welders. This is a new position in an existing hollow metal door and frame business. Salary based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Instruct students on Stick and MIG welding techniques.
  • Provide hands-on training welding primarily 12 to 18 gauge hot rolled steel.
  • Ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback.
  • Maintain welding equipment and supplies.
  • Complete welding repairs on door and frames as needed
  • Assembly and welding of new frames

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Stick and MIG welding.
