McCorvey Sheet Metal is a family-owned and operated company with locations across Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, Orlando, Raleigh, Charlotte, and Nashville. We specialize in detailing, fabricating, and installing HVAC sheet metal ducts, primarily working on large projects such as healthcare facilities, research labs, sports stadiums, hospitality, government, and educational markets.

We are looking for experienced Sheet Metal Welders to join our team! Willingness to travel is a plus. Welders should bring their own welding hood; the company will provide PPE such as gloves and vests for specific welding needs.

Job Responsibilities
  • Weld galvanized, aluminum, black iron, 304, and 316 stainless steel using TIG & MIG procedures with attention to detail.
  • Read and interpret blueprints for fabrication, assembly, and installation of sheet metal ductwork.
  • Use hand and power tools to finish metal surfaces ensuring safety and a seamless appearance.
  • Install assemblies including pipes, HVAC ductwork, and exhaust stacks.
  • Maximize efficiency during fabrication and installation processes.
  • Verify the correct type and gauge of sheet metal according to project specifications.
  • Maintain safety standards at all times during activities such as welding and installation.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in sheet metal ductwork welding and installation.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to pass drug screening, background check, and physical exam.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Provide own welding hood and sheet metal tools.
