Job summary

Total Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Welder in McCook, IL. Shift 1, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with pay between $18 and $20 per hour based on experience. The role requires welding on pipe projects, reading drawings, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Experience with TIG and MIG welding, ASME Section 9, and open root pipe welding is preferred. Candidates should be able to lift 20–50 lbs and work from drawings and specifications to complete assignments.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform welds using TIG, MIG and pipe welding techniques.
• Interpret drawings, templates and specifications to assemble and weld components.

Welders Description:

Location: McCook

Hours: 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM (1st shift)

Pay: $18-$20 per hour, based on experience

Preferred Skills

• Experience with TIG, pipe welding, horizontal, and vertical techniques
• Welding to ASME Section 9 standard
• Knowledge of open root schedule 40 pipe welding
• Familiarity with MIG welding is advantageous
• Proficiency in selecting equipment, planning layouts, assembling, and welding
• Understanding of geometry, metal properties, weld shrinkage, and welding techniques
• Capability to lift and move 20-50 lbs.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Working effectively from drawings, templates, and specifications
• Verifying quality and quantity of piping products accurately
• Aligning, positioning, and fitting components together
