Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a skilled fabricator to build steel molds for concrete products. The role involves using hand and power tools, operating welding equipment, and lifting heavy parts to precise specifications.

You will perform MIG and arc welding, cut steel with oxy-fuel torches, and utilize vertical band saws, drill presses, grinders, and other shop tools. Prior steel fabrication experience is required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in steel fabrication.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to read fractions and a tape measure.
• Ability to read shop prints.
• Understanding of basic use of hand and power tools.
• Maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication of steel from parts using various cutting equipment and welding parts together per specifications.
• Completing vertical and horizontal arc and MIG welding.
• Using oxygen and fuel torches to cut steel.
• Using industrial steel tools such a vertical band saw, drill press, grinders, etc.

Job Summary
