Allegheny Bradford Corporation in Bradford, PA, is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team on 1st shift. This hands-on role emphasizes TIG (GTAW) welding and precise fabrication of stainless steel equipment used in high-purity industries.

You will read blueprints, maintain tight tolerances, and operate lifting equipment as needed in a safety-conscious environment. A post-secondary welding certificate or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary certificate in welding or equivalent on-the-job experience.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings with confidence.
• Comfortable in a dusty environment with extended standing/movement.
• Available for 1st shift Monday-Thursday 5:00 AM-3:30 PM with overtime as needed.
• Proficient in TIG welding and metal forming techniques.

Responsibilities

• Welding & Fabrication – Use TIG welding to fabricate stainless steel components according to specs and customer requirements.
• Blueprint Interpretation – Read and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and written/verbal instructions.
• Measurement & Inspection – Use calipers, weld gauges, tape measures, and digital levels to inspect your work and ensure compliance.
• Tool Operation – Safely operate power tools and lifting equipment, including forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Documentation & Communication – Record your work, communicate status updates, and adhere to quality standards.
• Safety & Cleanliness – Maintain a safe, organized workspace and follow all safety protocols.
