A leading company in innovative climate solutions is looking for welders in La Crosse, WI. You will perform a variety of welding tasks and participate in training for certifications. JOB DESCRIPTION:
To perform all kinds of welding and cutting using gas and electric welding equipment.1st shift, 2nd shift, and weekend shift available with primary need for 2nd shift.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Completion of formal welding program or equivalent on the job experience
2.Demonstrated reliability
3.Weld Process: Be able to qualify in 2F, 2G, 3F, 3G, and/or 4F position
4.Ability to read engineering prints and weld symbols, as well as using basic measuring tools such as tape measures and levels
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
1.Experience welding in an industrial setting with ASME welding standard requirements
2.Experience in fitment of complex and heavy parts prior to welding
3.Prioritized experience in the following weld capabilities:
a.Pulsed MIG Welding
b.MIG welding
c.Stick welding
d.TIG welding
4.Welders with ability to join Steel to steel, steel to stainless, aluminum, and other materials
Pay and Benefits:
Starting pay $27.42
Second Shift and Weekend Shift Premium
Vacation –Upon completion of probationary period.
PTO/Sick Leave – After 6 months.
401K Match
Medical after probationary period
