100Hires, Inc. in Kilgore, TX is seeking a skilled welder to perform structural and precision welding on geotechnical drilling equipment components using MIG, TIG and stick processes. The role requires reading fabrication drawings and weld symbols, setting up equipment, and ensuring welds meet design specifications.

You will inspect welds, perform repairs, grind and finish to specification, maintain tools, and follow all safety protocols including hot work and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in MIG welding; TIG preferred.
• Ability to read weld drawings and symbols.

Responsabilités

• Weld structural steel assemblies per blueprints and weld procedure specifications (WPS).
• Set up welding equipment and select appropriate filler materials.
• Inspect welds for defects and perform repairs as needed.
• Grind and finish welds to specification.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and weld symbols.
• Maintain welding equipment in good working order.
• Follow all safety protocols including hot work and PPE requirements.
