Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a Structural Welder for the 2nd shift in Oshkosh, WI. The welder will set up, fit, tack, and weld ferrous and nonferrous components per Welding Procedure Specifications and applicable codes.

The candidate should read and interpret drawings, perform precise welds, and ensure quality and inspection standards are met. GMAW certification or 3–5 years experience is required, with the ability to qualify for 400-level welding. OSHA-compliant and ITAR/U.S.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma with welding instruction.
  • GMAW certification or 3–5 years welding experience.
  • Able to qualify for 400-level structural welding.
  • Ability to read complex drawings and welding symbols.
  • Pass required welding tests and ITAR/U.S. Person requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, fit, tack, and weld ferrous and nonferrous materials.
  • Read, understand, and follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
  • Weld in compliance with applicable welding codes and quality standards.
  • Produce welds that meet structural, dimensional, and aesthetic requirements.
  • Interpret and apply weld inspection criteria.
  • Cut, grind, fit, and bend components for weldment assembly.
  • Clean, finish, and deburr welds to meet customer requirements and codes.
  • Collaborate with team to assemble and weld large components.
  • Perform testing and inspection of welds to ensure quality.
  • Complete weld rework per welding codes.
  • Salvage and rebuild components as directed.
