Job summary

Opti Staffing Group in Kelso, WA is seeking a Fitter/Fabricator to follow blueprints, fit parts, and weld for custom repairs and projects. Emphasis on speed, accuracy, and safe work habits; read blueprints and troubleshoot as needed.

This night shift position offers overtime opportunities and a benefits package including health, dental, and vision, plus paid vacation and PTO after 90 days. Must have MIG welding and fitting experience, fabrication background, and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• The Musts: +2 years of experience with MIG Welding and Fitting.
• +2 years of experience in Fabrication.
• Tig experience is welcome.
• Able to read blueprints and troubleshoot issues.
• Coachable personality and ability to pick things up quickly.
• Can consistently lift 50lbs and have reliable transportation.
• Preferred: Some college or trades school education.
• AWS/WABO Certifications are a huge plus.

Responsibilities

Pay: $20 - $25/hr (DOE and Weld Test Performance)

Shift: Night Shift

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As this team’s newest Fitter / Fabricator, you are going to be following blueprints and fitting parts, processing materials and welding for custom repairs/ projects. You’ll put an emphasis on speed and accuracy, while practicing safe work habits. You’ll be reading blueprints and utilizing your experience to troubleshoot any issues.
