OVERVIEW
A local fabrication shop is seeking a qualified and skilled welder.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately weld new parts or repair parts as scheduled.
• Safely operate welding gear, gases, and supplies.
• Follow instructions carefully.
• Communicate effectively, be willing to learn, and ask questions when needed.
• Maintain excellent attendance.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of manual lathes and mills.
• Experience with MIG welding preferred; experience with aluminum is a plus. Will consider stick welders.
• Powder coating experience is helpful.
• Good math skills, ability to handle transactions, write receipts, and document payments.
• Clean criminal background.

WORK HOURS/SHIFT

• 1st shift – Monday to Thursday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
• Fridays, 8 AM to 3 PM.

LOCATION

• DeWitt, IA.

WAGE

• $20 to $22 per hour to start.
