Job Summary — The Welders are responsible for fabricating hollow metal frames and doors to ensure top quality delivery.

Responsibilities include:

1. Perform modifications to metal frames and doors both in the field and in-house.
2. Assist in designing jigs and fixtures to improve shop performance.
3. Identify and gather materials based on requisitions, work orders, or instructions.
4. Cut and splice metal pieces as instructed.
5. Weld 12-18-gauge metal using stick or MIG welders.
6. Ensure materials are properly squared.
7. Prepare hardware using jigs or templates as directed.
8. Operate equipment safely and efficiently, including safety gear.
9. Perform basic maintenance on equipment.
10. Inspect welds for quality and accuracy.
11. Assist with grinding duties when necessary.
12. Maintain a professional and positive attitude with customers and coworkers.
13. Keep the work area clean and safe.
14. Support with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Essential functions include: welding, forklift operation, maintaining paperwork, and other duties as assigned.
