Cook & Boardman, LLC is seeking a skilled MIG welder in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to perform welding of hollow metal frames and commercial hardware. The position emphasizes accuracy in the fabrication process and includes responsibilities such as assembly and modifications for locksets and hinges.

This position is responsible for welding specific hollow metal frame material with the use of MIG welders. Accuracy and fabrication are very important as most of the work involves modifications including such items as preparing for locksets, hinges, glass kits, access control devices and other such products.
This position requires physical activity consistent with a construction or installation environment. The employee will spend more than two‑thirds of their time standing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, using hands to handle or feel, and reaching with hands and arms. Approximately one‑third of the time may be spent walking and engaging in verbal communication or listening. Frequent lifting and moving of materials weighing between 25 and 50 pounds is required.
This role may involve travel to project sites and exposure to a variety of environmental conditions. These may include outdoor weather, proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery, and the use of hand tools or hardware. Employees may be subject to frequent heavy lifting and other physical demands typical of a construction or warehouse environment.
