Job description

Join Our Team as a Welder at Spacesaver Corporation

We are seeking experienced welders for our 2nd shift at Spacesaver Corporation, located in Fort Atkinson, WI. This full-time position offers a starting wage of $21.00/hr plus a $3.00 shift premium.

Responsibilities include:

1. Welding preparation, including MIG and robotic welding
2. Loading and unloading materials
3. Performing metal finishing operations according to customer drawings and specifications

Schedule: Four 10-hour days, Monday to Thursday, 2:00 pm to 12:00 am. Mandatory overtime on Fridays and every other Saturday as needed.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for at least 8 hours, lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly, and perform tasks requiring arm reach and manual dexterity. The environment involves seasonal temperature changes.

Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Candidates should have 3-5 years of relevant experience or a technical degree with 1 year of experience. Basic PLC/CNC knowledge and ability to read tape measures are advantageous. Effective communication in English and ability to work independently or in a team are essential.
