Custom Truck One Source, Inc. in Lynchburg/Forest, VA is seeking a Welder for full-time, non-exempt hourly work. Work includes arc welding, cutting, and assembling heavy equipment with the use of MIG welders, torches, and plasma tools.

You will read engineering drawings, operate overhead cranes, and adhere to safety policies. AWS certifications are required or must be obtained; overtime may be necessary to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets engineering drawings or blueprints.
• Knowledge of welding and cutting equipment (MIG welders, torches, plasma cutter).
• Able to operate overhead cranes safely.
• Must be AWS certified (AWS B21-1-020-94 and AWS D1.1-10) or able to obtain certification.
• Willingness to work designated shift and overtime as needed.
• Minimum one year welding experience preferred.

• Fit and weld parts for heavy equipment assembly.
