Job summary

Custom Truck One Source is seeking skilled welders for our Lynchburg, VA location to join a dynamic team servicing heavy equipment and custom fabrication projects. You will perform arc welding, use cutting torches and plasma tools, read engineering drawings, and support the welding department with varied tasks while adhering to safety policies.

Qualified candidates have at least one year of welding experience, familiarity with MIG and plasma cutting, and the ability to pass pre-employment drug

Qualifications

• Read engineering drawings and interpret fabrication requirements.
• Proficient use of MIG welders, torches, and plasma cutting tools.
• Experience with overhead cranes is required.
• Certified to AWS B21-1-020-94 and AWS D1.1-10.
• Able to work designated shifts and overtime when needed.
• Minimum one year welding experience preferred.
• Basic computer navigation and daily timekeeping tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform electric arc/welding on various types of metal.
• Use oxygen/acetylene and plasma cutting tools.
• Fit and weld parts for heavy equipment assembly.
