Seeking Manual Welder

EK is looking for a full-time Welder ready to work hard and build their welding experience with our team. We are seeking a new Welder who can weld on a wide variety of metals and alloys, navigate blueprints and directions successfully, and is ready to take their weld skills to the next level.

Responsibilities include:

1. Successfully reading and understanding American and European blueprints, geometrical call outs, and weld symbols to meet or exceed client expectations.
2. Using GMAW-P, GMAW-S, and GTAW processes to effectively weld weldments, tanks, and metal parts per process specifications.
3. Performing welding on various metals and alloys, including carbon steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
4. Hand layout of weldments with minimal supervision.
5. Using fixtures, gauges, and jigs to manufacture welded parts to customer specifications.
6. Assisting with creating work instructions.
7. Completing inspections using calipers, height gauges, protractors, and tape measures.
8. Pressure testing fuel tanks and hydro testing glycol tanks.
9. Traveling between plants and adapting to product requirements at each facility.
10. Analyzing weld processes and recommending improvements.
