Job summary

Electric Mirror LLC in Everett, WA seeks an experienced Welder to join our precision sheet metal shop. You will weld cold-rolled steel and perform deburring, sanding, cutting and grinding for next production steps, while supporting teammates with other shop tasks and machine operations as schedules require.

The ideal candidate has solid experience welding TIG and MIG, reading drawings, and following safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge in welding and fabrication of product, sub-assemblies and components for production.
  • Proficiency in various welding techniques and equipment.
  • Welding symbols: ability to read and understand welding drawings, quality control, and safety.
  • Ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to read, evaluate, and respond to product specifications and drawings, and perform normal math calculations easily.
  • Must be familiar and comfortable with various machinery.
  • Must have strong general mechanical skills.
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

  • Hand rolling small parts of thin gage material.

  • Other metal fabrication duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Electric Mirror. This position will be responsible for the welding of cold-rolled sheet steel and deburring, sanding, cutting, and grinding parts for the next stage of production in a precision sheet metal fabrication shop. You will also assist coworkers with other shop tasks and machine operations as production schedules require.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift, pull or push up to 50 lbs.; anything over 50 lbs. is to be assisted
  • Be on your feet 8-10 hours per day
  • Must demonstrate good hand/eye coordination and good manual dexterity
  • Must be able to repetitively use arms, hands, and fingers in the manipulation of parts
Schedule & Compensation
  • Monday – Thursday, 6:00am – 4:30pm
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Expected hours: 40 per week
  • Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 / hour
