Job summary

Welder

We are searching for an experienced Welder at our Cincinnati, OH - Plant facility.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Studies blueprints or drawings of articles to be constructed or repaired, and plans sequence of fabrication and assembly operations to be performed.
• Perform basic welding skills; adjust welders to material being welded, select clamps, use jigs, fixtures, flame cut, plasma cut, drill material and other necessary equipment as required by the project
• Grinds and Polishes steel.

• Must be able to read and interpret blue prints/drawings.
• Must be able to Mig and Tig weld.
• Must be able to grind and polish steel.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Musthave knowledge of and experience using basic hand tool and machinery usage (hammers, electric drills, drill presses, grinders, etc.)
• Must be able to obtain fork truck certification.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English language; including ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must be able to work some OT and Saturdays.
• Mathematical Skills: Basic math, addition and subtraction of fractions.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Required Education/Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
