Job summary

SA Recycling LLC in Missouri is seeking a Welder to perform repair and maintenance on a metal recycling shredder and other industrial equipment.

You will weld steel components using ARC and MIG, cut and fabricate to tight dimensions, and follow prints and verbal instructions. You must maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; graduation from a trade school preferred.
  • 3+ years welding experience (MIG, stick, and torch) on various materials.
  • Recycling industry experience preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of welding fabrication tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of OSHA health and safety rules, regulations and best practices; understands hazards.
  • Ability to work at varying heights, in tight quarters, and varied positions.
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.

  • Performs repair and maintenance assignments for a metal recycling shredder and other industrial equipment.

  • Perform related work such as flame cutting, bending, forming, beveling, notching of metal and plastic parts.
  • Maintains accurate records of all work performed.
  • Work from prints, drawings, and verbal instructions.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF WELDER

  • Ability to safely work at varying heights, in tight quarters, and varying positions.
  • Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus.
