Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Brookville, PA is seeking a skilled welder to perform structural and precision welding on geotechnical drilling equipment components using MIG, TIG, and stick welding. You will read fabrication drawings, set up equipment, and ensure welds meet design specs.

Candidate should have 2+ years in a manufacturing environment, proficiency with MIG welding (TIG preferred), and ability to interpret weld symbols. OSHA-safe practices and PPE compliance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in MIG welding; TIG preferred.
• Ability to read weld drawings and symbols.
• Willing to obtain certifications (D1.1 preferred).

Responsibilities

• Weld structural steel assemblies per blueprints and WPS.
• Set up welding equipment and select appropriate filler materials.
• Inspect welds for defects and perform repairs as needed.
• Grind and finish welds to specification.
• Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols.
• Maintain welding equipment and follow safety protocols including PPE requirements.
