Job summary

Acro Service Corp is seeking skilled welders to join a defense manufacturing team. The role requires GMAW/MIG and GTAW/TIG welding on aluminum and carbon steel, reading drawings, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include welding, interpreting blueprints and WPS, lifting parts, inspecting welds, and collaborating with teammates. Experience with hand/power tools and forklift is a plus; HS diploma or GED and welding training preferred.

Qualifications

  • 2–4+ years of GMAW (MIG) and/or GTAW (TIG) welding on aluminum and/or carbon steel.
  • Ability to pass welding qualification tests for steel and aluminum.
  • Strong understanding of Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), weld gauges, and measuring tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints and apply shop math for measurements and calculations.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 32 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift or material handling experience is a plus.

  • Complete production, labor, and quality documentation accurately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and assist with training when needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
