Job summary

Magna International is seeking a maintenance technician in Michigan to service, repair, install, and test robotic welding equipment. You will troubleshoot process problems, conduct preventive maintenance, and collaborate with production teams and vendors to improve reliability and product quality.

The role requires hands-on experience with Fanuc robotics, MIG/SPOT welding, and adherence to 5S and safety protocols in a fast-paced environment. Strong documentation and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Fanuc robotics production support.
• Robotic MIG, SPOT welding experience preferred.
• Fronius and BOSCH welding background preferred.
• Knowledge and ability to use a voltage meter.
• Background with robotic dress packs preferred.
• Practice the 5S methodology.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, repair, install and test equipment and verify conformance to specifications.
• Complete repairs, modifications and installations as required.
• Provide plant support in troubleshooting of process problems and drive quality improvements.
• Establish cross functional team for reliability issues; liaise with production and vendors.
• Document improvements and analysis data; ensure swift implementation.
• Follow safety rules and company procedures.
