Job summary

Lippert is relocating its RANCH HAND operations to Seguin, TX, and this Weld Team Leader role will be based in Seguin after relocation with a Sept 2026 target date. Travel assistance is available if needed, and this position will move to 2nd shift once relocation is complete.

The Weld Team Leader will assist the Operations Supervisor, supervise weld staff, and ensure efficient welding operations. This role requires welding experience and prior leadership, with strong communication to weld teams

Qualifications

• 2 years of weld experience and 2 years of Lead experience.
• Education: High School Diploma.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of team members through daily activities
• Operate manual and automated welding units and equipment
• Maintain length of arc and speed of movement to form specified depth of fusion and bead
• Examine weld for bead size and other specifications
• Repair improperly welded pieces and fill holes
• Position and clamp work pieces together or assemble them in a jig fixture
• Tack assemblies together
• Communicate and work closely with associates and Weld Leader
• Schedule work to meet customer demands
• Interact with team members and Weld Leader to define requirements
• Troubleshoot and solve problems within the Weld department
• Define, implement, and maintain best practices
• Assist in implementing progressive discipline procedures
• Perform all other duties as assigned
