Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing, a leading employee-owned provider in North America, seeks an experienced welder to repair non-conforming parts and components. You will weld with MIG/TIG, follow safety protocols, and move parts within the plant while using Plexus ERP for workflows.

The role requires 3-5 years of welding experience and a valid MIG/TIG certification. Join a safety-first team in a 1st shift at our Northlake, TX plant.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to safely perform duties.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Certified in MIG and/or TIG welding.
• Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and reliability in tasks and results.
• Able to self-motivate and prioritize tasks as assigned.
• Resolves conflicts constructively by listening and focusing on issues.
• Shows adaptability and positive attitude toward change.
• Keeps supervisor and shift informed with pertinent information.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures and protocols while servicing or maintaining equipment.
• Repair parts/components using MIG and/or TIG welding.
• Tag parts.
• Move parts to correct location in the plant/facility.
• Participate in preventative actions where appropriate.
• Utilize Plexus ERP system for work orders and inventory.
• Conduct housekeeping for own and shared spaces.
• Maintain welding equipment.
