Job summary

Metalcraft of Mayville - Fall River is seeking a Welding/Shift Production Lead for the 2nd or 3rd shift to support the Supervisor, oversee weld teams, and ensure on-time production. You will work with welders, prioritize safety, and maintain quality and efficiency on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team and coordinate with multiple departments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in a weld department or lead role preferred.
• Experience with SAP and MS Office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor in directing welders and shift activities.
• Coordinate 2nd/3rd shift teams to ensure on-time parts and proper schedule adherence.
• Communicate changes and new procedures to stay on schedule.
• Support cost savings, continuous improvement, and safety initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
