Job summary

Triton Metal Products seeks a Weld Engineer to lead weld process development, fixture design, and robotic welding optimization for both manual and automated operations. You will drive process standardization, continuous improvement, and cost reduction while supporting new product launches and ongoing production needs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in welding, fabrication, or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with weld fixture design and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with GD&T and reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize weld processes for new and existing products.
• Design and improve weld fixtures for repeatability and quality.
• Program and optimize robotic welding systems to enhance throughput.
• Establish weld process standards, best practices, and setup guidelines.
• Analyze weld data and drive improvements in quality, cycle time, and cost.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for weld issues.
