Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking an entry-level welder to weld metal components following work instructions and basic blueprints. You will perform routine quality checks to ensure standards are met and maintain equipment in good condition.

The role involves reading drawings, setting up welding equipment, and possibly operating robots, saws and grinders. A safety-focused mindset and willingness to learn are essential for success.

Experience Requirements

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Some physical demand; often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting/moving up to 50 lbs (11-27 kgs).
• Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours).
• May be exposed to noise levels requiring hearing protection over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
