Job summary

Axis Pipe and Tube LLC in Bryan, Texas is seeking a Weld Mill Operator for a full-time, manual labor role. The position involves changing over and setting up mills, monitoring weld quality, and performing mill maintenance. Salary ranges from $20.00 to $26.00 per hour.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, some related experience or training, and basic PC skills. Reading and following procedures and safety requirements is essential.

Qualifications

Must be able to read and understand the procedures and work instructions.
High frequency welding experience desired.
Moderate PC skills in Microsoft Applications (Word/Excel).
Able to read, write, speak, and understand English to follow job and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Changeover and set up mills.
Continuously monitor weld integrity, inside flash and overall quality of product produced.
Perform maintenance on mill as required.
Communicate status or any issues along the mill line.
Basic housekeeping in general work area.
Complete any assignments given by Supervisor.
