Job summary

Batesville Tool and Die, Inc. is seeking a Weld Machine Production Group Leader to oversee daily weld machine production, train team members, and coordinate staffing and setups. You will help maintain safety, efficiency, and quality while leading on the shop floor with hands-on guidance.

The role emphasizes developing operators, solving daily production issues, and sustaining a team-focused culture committed to continuous improvement and strong housekeeping practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to train employees, coordinate work, communicate clearly.
• Knowledge of weld machine operation, setups, safety devices, inspection, and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily weld machine operations and oversee department jobs.
• Coordinate assignments and schedules to meet production needs.
• Assist with job setups and train operators to set up, run, and inspect jobs.
