Ideal candidates have five years of welding inspection experience, knowledge of D1.1/D1.2 codes, and strong teamwork to drive defects to root cause with data-driven actions.

Qualifications

• Five years related experience in welding inspections or equivalent.
• Familiarity with D1.1 and D1.2 codes and practices.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and measurable inspections on steel and aluminum welds.
• Carry out leak and dye-penetrant testing as required.
• Document all paperwork accurately and timely.
• Certify/re-certify welders per D1.1 or D1.2 as needed.
• Suggest improvements and train others on best practices.
• Investigate quality issues and report root causes to teams.
• Ensure calibration of weld and measuring equipment.
