Whirlwind Steel is seeking an experienced Welding Supervisor to oversee the welding department, ensuring quality workmanship and production deadlines. The role requires leadership, welding expertise, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The successful candidate will supervise welders, manage equipment, and collaborate with teams to optimize processes and maintain records, while upholding AWS and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years welding experience in a manufacturing or structural steel environment.
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety standards.
• Proficiency reading blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team to meet production goals.
• Familiarity with AWS and OSHA standards.
• Knowledge of robotic welding systems is a plus.
