Anchor Fabrication in La Vergne, TN is seeking motivated welders for a second shift (2:30 pm–11:00 pm) to join a fast-paced, quality-centered shop. On-site role with overtime as needed; candidate should read blueprints and weld symbols and handle MIG/TIG welding and aluminum as required.

Minimum 1+ year weld experience, punctuality, and dependability are essential. The environment includes physical demands and PPE/safety adherence; medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits are offered.

Responsabilités

ANCHOR FABRICATION has immediate openings for highly motivated Welders seeking to work in a fast-paced, quality-centered environment.

2nd shift 2:30 pm- 11:00 pm must be able to work overtime as needed

Job Responsibilities:

• Knowledge and understanding of weld symbols
• Welding (MIG/TIG)- Robot Welding
• Freehand-weld aluminum
• Steel, Stainless, and Aluminum
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to read blueprints
• How to use a large belt sander
• Responsible for continually maintaining a clean working environment
• Uses proper PPE and follows all safety procedures

Physical weld testing on-site must be acceptable.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1+ years of welding experience
• Demonstrated punctual and dependable performance
• Previous experience working in the industrial manufacturing industry is preferred

Environment/Physical Requirements:

This position is carried out in a weld shop environment and as such, has the following physical work requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to position the weld apparatus in any position the work requires
• Position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Position may require bending, kneeling, and stooping
• Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, and chemicals
