Job summary

Doncasters is seeking a detail-focused Weld Blender in Groton, CT to ensure the highest quality of castings by blending welds and removing defects identified during NDT operations.

You will collaborate with the Weld, X-ray, and FPI departments, preserving critical wall thicknesses and features while maintaining a safe, organized production area. A high school diploma or technical training is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Welding experience within manufacturing required.
• High school diploma or technical school completion.
• Meticulous approach to high-precision finishing and QA.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and remove defects identified during NDT operations.
• Blend welds on complex castings while preserving wall thickness.
• Collaborate with Weld, X-ray, and FPI to maintain quality control.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workspace.
