Job summary

Vicar’s Landing in Florida is seeking a diligent Housekeeper to maintain resident rooms, apartments, and common areas. You will perform routine cleaning, safely handle cleaning products, and report maintenance needs to keep the community welcoming and comfortable for Members, guests, and staff.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to four years high school or GED, with particular emphasis during high school in office skills, shop skills, or others, plus 7 to 11 months related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Keep resident rooms, apartments, and community spaces clean, fresh, and welcoming
• Perform routine and detailed cleaning tasks following department standards
• Safely prepare and use cleaning products and equipment
• Maintain organized work areas and ensure equipment is cleaned and stored properly
• Report maintenance concerns, broken equipment, and safety hazards promptly
• Handle linens, trash removal, and room preparation with care and attention to detail
• Promote a safe environment by following housekeeping and infection prevention practices
• Deliver excellent service while respecting resident privacy, dignity, and personal belongings
• Support the team with additional duties and projects as needed
• Unloads supplies from truck and places on shelves in the stock room
• Runs miscellaneous errands for Housekeeping Department
• Completes required forms as needed (i.e. service requests, accident/incident reports)
• Performs other duties as may become necessary or as directed by the supervisor
