Job summary

30hop Restaurant & Bar in Lee’s Summit, MO is hiring Hosts to join our front of house team. You’ll welcome Guests, manage the waitlist, seat Guests, answer questions, and support the dining room during service.

Part-time opportunities with Thursday–Sunday availability; 25% dining discount, employee assistance, and perks at other Craft Concepts restaurants. Must be 16 or older and friendly, professional, and team-oriented.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is helpful but not required.
• Friendly and professional communication skills.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Guest-focused attitude and willingness to help.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome Guests and create a friendly first impression
• Manage the waitlist and provide accurate wait-time estimates
• Seat Guests while helping maintain an efficient flow throughout the dining room
• Communicate with Servers and other team members about seating and Guest needs
• Answer phone calls and assist with Guest questions
• Help manage reservations and to-go orders as needed
• Keep the host stand, entryway, and other Guest-facing areas clean and organized
• Assist with resetting tables and preparing the dining room for incoming Guests
• Support food running and other front of house responsibilities when needed
• Work with teammates to keep service moving during busy periods
• Assist with opening and closing responsibilities
• Other duties as assigned
