Role Overview

Title: Welcome Coordinator

The purpose of the Welcome Coordinator at Oak Street Health is to create an inclusive environment for anyone who walks through our doors and to make a positive first and last impression on our patients. Welcome Coordinators are the face of our clinic and the glue that keeps our center operations efficient. They perform various administrative tasks that enable our broader teams to create an unmatched patient experience, deliver the best care anywhere, and make Oak Street a great place to work. Responsibilities include scheduling patient appointments, managing inbound and outbound calls, and administrative duties like fax and mail management. Welcome Coordinators should be friendly and highly adaptable.

Core Responsibilities
  • Welcoming patients and guests
  • Conducting visit check-in and assisting with forms
  • Collecting co-pays
  • Updating patient information in electronic records
  • Scheduling/rescheduling appointments
  • Managing phone lines and outbound calls
  • Handling faxes in the electronic platform
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the Welcome and Community Rooms
  • Occasional float to other centers in the region
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Google Suite
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other relevant languages
  • US work authorization
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in customer service
  • Some college education

Details

Weekly Hours: 40

Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $17.00 - $31.30 per hour

Note: Actual salary depends on experience, education, location, and other factors. Eligible for bonuses and incentives.
