Job summary

West Morris Area YMCA in Randolph, NJ is seeking a part-time Welcome Center Representative to greet members, answer questions, and assist with membership and program enrollments.

Under supervision, the role requires friendly, professional service, basic computer skills, and the ability to work evenings and weekends to support program offerings and member engagement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to speak and interact in Spanish (preferred)
• Ability to work additional hours (days/evenings) as needed.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent personal computer skills and experience with standard business software.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to members, guests, and program participants.
• Greet members and potential members warmly to create a welcoming environment.
• Process memberships and program enrollments accurately.
• Respond to inquiries accurately and thoroughly.
• Promote West Morris Area YMCA programs and assist with related duties.

Job Details: Job Location: Randolph, NJ 07869, Position Type: Part Time, Salary Range: $16.00 - $16.00 Hourly, POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Membership and Wellness, this position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Welcome Center Representative at the West Morris Area YMCA are passionate and enthusiastic. They intentionally foster a cause-centered culture that is welcoming, genuine, hopeful, and nurturing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends.
• Provides excellent customer service to members, guests, and program participants.
• Creates a welcoming environment for all by greeting members and potential members warmly.
• Accurately processes memberships and program enrollments.
• Responds to inquiries accurately and thoroughly.
• Understand and promote West Morris Area YMCA programs
• Other duties are assigned
