Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet customers with a smile, answer questions, and resolve concerns professionally. Follow policies to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Identify and shop customer orders promptly to ensure accuracy and freshness.
• Operate front-end scanning equipment and registers, bag merchandise efficiently, and assist customers in placing items in their carts.
• Contact customers by phone for questions or concerns.
• Use console and picker devices accurately.
• Stay informed about weekly ads, promotions, and store layout to assist customers effectively.
• Ensure transaction accuracy, proper payment collection, and adherence to security and legal guidelines, including tobacco and alcohol sales.
• Maintain cleanliness in the department, following sanitation schedules and OSHA requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and continuously improve job performance.
• Use all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) properly.
• Assist in other departments as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications
