Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a highly skilled Medical Weight Management Physician to join our Weight Loss Center team in Fall River, Wareham, and nearby communities. This part-time role offers 36 hours weekly with day shifts and no weekend, holiday, or on-call obligations.

You will diagnose obesity as a chronic disease, develop personalized, multidisciplinary care plans, and participate in community outreach while using EPIC for documentation.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Family or Internal Medicine.
• ABOM certification preferred.
• Experience in obesity care and related conditions.
• Current state medical license and DEA registration.
• Demonstrated clinical excellence and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose obesity and develop patient-centered treatment plans.
• Provide multidisciplinary, evidence-based obesity care.
• Conduct in-person consultations at Fall River, Wareham & Hyannis locations; offer virtual visits.
• Document treatment plans and progress notes in EPIC.
• Participate in community outreach and obesity education.
