Job summary

SA Recycling is seeking a reliable Weighmaster/Cashier to accurately weigh, grade, and sort NF materials and manage related documentation. You will be the primary contact for customers, process payments, and maintain transaction records in a fast-paced environment both indoors and outdoors.

The role requires strong communication skills, ability to multi-task, and experience with scales or similar equipment. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; safety standards are emphasized throughout.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years’ experience operating truck scales preferred in scrap metal or similar industry.
• Strong communication and phone etiquette, capable of working with customers and co-workers.
• Fast-paced environment; good organizational, mathematical, and multi-tasking abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry software; bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify, sort, and weigh inbound NF materials accurately.
• Document customer information into the ticketing system and provide receipts.
• Assist customers with required documentation and answer questions on pricing.
• Process payments and maintain records of all transactions.
• Submit reports per company policies; perform housekeeping in scale house and customer areas.
