Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an enthusiastic Traffic Marshall to join the site team. You will assist with traffic flow at the Weighbridge and act as the first point of contact for contractors and visitors.

Key duties include recording driver details, coordinating load slots, ensuring PPE, and maintaining safe, courteous service while following health and safety regulations. The role operates on rotating shifts with a 5th Saturday rota, and requires engagement in toolbox talks and incident

Qualifications

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Capable of working alone and staying motivated.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels.
• Experience using hand-held radios.
• Strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Record driver details including induction and load.
• Coordinate with Sundries Weighbridge for SD loadings.
• Direct traffic and manage waiting areas to avoid congestion.
• Ensure drivers wear required PPE.
• Assist with incidents per emergency procedures and business continuity plans.
• Maintain shift handover records and communicate across teams.
