Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Material Handler in Bohemia, NY to dispense raw materials according to specifications and verify labels with accuracy. You will load and unload materials, measure, sample, and report any damage or inconsistencies on shift.

You’ll participate in inventory adjustments and cycle counts, mentor peers, troubleshoot issues, and enter data across paper forms and digital devices while strictly following GMPs, SOPs, and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 2-3 years of manufacturing or material handling experience preferred
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout your shift
• Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens
• Flexible to work overtime based on business needs

Responsibilities

• Dispense raw materials according to specifications
• Verify labels and document dispensing processes accurately
• Load and unload raw materials; report damage or inconsistencies
• Scale, measure, and sample materials with precision
• Support overflow tasks and collaborate across departments
• Assist with inventory adjustments and cycle counts
• Mentor peers and support a positive team environment
• Troubleshoot issues and elevate when needed
• Enter data using paper forms, computers, or tablets
• Follow safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies
