• Locate and transport material to the shipping area
• Prepare and protect loads for shipment
• Label loads, weigh and record weights, and load materials onto trucks
• Perform computer and handheld-unit transactions to ship and receive materials
• Unload incoming vendor materials and deliver them to proper storage areas, including tankers where applicable
• Report and record damage to incoming goods before removing them from trucks
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against packing slips
• Obtain materials from storage for shipment and production
• Assist with material handling throughout the plant
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor
