Oakton College in Des Plaines, IL seeks an Employer Engagement Coordinator for the Workforce Equity Initiative (WEI). You will lead employer outreach, raise awareness of the WEI program, and connect students to employment opportunities after program completion.

This is a grant-funded, part-time staff position focused on equity and access, working with communities targeted by the WEI initiative to promote high-demand training and career pathways.

Job Description

The purpose of the Workforce Equity Initiative (WEI) is to accelerate the time to enter and succeed in post-secondary education/training programs that lead to employment in high-skilled, high-wage, and in-demand occupations with special consideration to Black, African-American, unemployed, and/or underemployed residents from identified zip codes.
