Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Florida is seeking a maintenance/ janitorial team member to uphold high safety and sanitation standards across the club. You will perform cleaning duties, gather and return carts, and assist with minor repairs as needed.

Expect physical work including lifting up to 30 pounds, moving carts in the parking lot, and maintaining clean restrooms and floors. Regular attendance and teamwork are essential to deliver a positive member experience.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred.
• May be less than 18 to perform parking lot cart functions; must be over 18 to operate equipment.
• Regular, predictable attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and returns carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance.
• Maintains cleanliness of the club, restrooms, and outdoor areas.
• Operates floor scrubber and other cleaning equipment following safety standards.
• Performs minor repairs and notifies management for major repairs.
