Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance/Janitorial Associate to help keep our clubs clean, safe, and welcoming for members. You’ll perform general cleaning, assist with cart retrieval, and help maintain both indoor and outdoor areas to support a positive member experience.

Prior maintenance or janitorial experience is preferred but not required. You’ll work with a team, follow safety procedures, and contribute to a high standard of cleanliness and safety across the facility.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be over 18 to operate equipment; may be under 18 for cart functions.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and maintain high safety and sanitation standards across the club.
• Gathers and returns carts/flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance.
• Operates floor scrubber and other cleaning equipment following safety guidelines.
• Restocks supplies and maintains cleanliness of restrooms, floors, and outdoor areas.
