Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a dedicated maintenance and cleaning associate to uphold high safety and sanitation standards across the club. You will collect and return carts, keep outdoor and indoor areas clean, and support a fast-paced retail environment Sunday through Saturday, with focus on team collaboration and member safety.

The role involves operating cleaning equipment, lifting up to 30 pounds, and performing routine building maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must complete required training and certifications.
• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred.
• Must be over 18 to operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all club areas, including sales floor, offices, restrooms and outdoor spaces.
• Gather and return carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance.
• Operate floor scrubber and other cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Restock maintenance and cleaning supplies and keep storage areas neat and organized.
• Assist with minor repairs and report major repairs to management.
