Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support staffing across our Sioux Falls region. You will provide compassionate, professional nursing care, administer medications, monitor vitals, and support patients with daily living activities in various settings.

The role offers flexible scheduling (PRN, part-time, full-time) with weekly pay and on-call support. SD-based licensure or reciprocity is required, with emphasis on quality patient care and timely documentation.

Qualifications

Active RN license in SD or eligibility through reciprocity.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Previous RN experience preferred.
Must maintain required certifications and standards.
Ability to provide compassionate, professional nursing care in various settings.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily living activities with compassionate, individualized care.
Administer medications and treatments per orders and protocols.
Assist with ambulation, transfers, and ROM exercises.
Monitor and record vital signs regularly.
Provide wound care and monitor healing.
Care for PEG tube patients and assist with feeding as applicable.
Administer infusions and monitor responses.
Undertake nursing assessments and adjust care plans as needed.
Complete accurate clinical documentation.
Perform other RN duties within scope of practice.
Act as charge nurse for the scheduled shift as assigned.
