Job summary

Tech24 is seeking a skilled Hot & Cold Technician to service commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment on Cape Cod, MA. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of kitchen and refrigeration systems while delivering outstanding customer service.

The role requires 3+ years’ experience, a valid driver’s license, strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs. On-call rotation is expected. Competitive pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial foodservice and/or refrigeration repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Own industry standard hand tools.
• Willingness to participate in an on‑call rotation as needed.
• EPA Universal certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers).
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration systems (walk-ins, reach-ins, prep tables, ice machines).
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe, efficient equipment operations.
• Document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions.
• Communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers.
• Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked.
• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Represent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service.
