The USA TODAY NETWORK seeks a versatile, organized Weeklies and Special Projects Editor to oversee weekly Iowa and the Farm Forum publication.
This editor will be responsible for planning, editing and producing six Iowa weekly newspapers and the Farm Forum, a South Dakota-based agricultural publication.
The successful candidate will ensure the consistent quality and performance of these products while providing editing support within the Des Moines newsroom and assisting with major coverage initiatives such as the Iowa State Fair, elections and other high-volume projects.
This role is remote and can be based anywhere in the US, except for Alaska, Hawaii and Wyoming. Iowa based candidates are a plus.
The annualized base salary for this role will range between $50,500 and $78,906. Base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to, the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications and experience. Note: variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable.
